Join MNEA for the three-day event. Summer Leadership/Political Academy will run concurrently from Sunday, July 14, through Tuesday, July 16, at the Lodge of Four Seasons, Lake Ozark.
MNEA Summer Leadership will offer sessions to help your leadership team build the skills they need to strengthen your local association and advocate for your members. It will NOT be 3 days of sit-n-get. Session facilitators have activities built into every session that involve YOU. You won’t want to miss the BBQ Luau Pool Patio Party after the Opening General Session on Sunday. Monday will bring a day of learning followed by a Trivia Night and Dance. Then, we will wrap things up on Tuesday by noon.

- More than 30 sessions, two general sessions, and planning time with your local and staff.
- Meals will be provided, with dinner on your own Monday evening.

Hotel Accommodations
MNEA will book rooms for all participants at the Lodge of Four Seasons under the MNEA room block.
Participants will share double occupancy accommodations for Sunday and Monday nights. MNEA will make every effort to pair roommates from the same local association. If a participant would like a single room, they will be responsible for their own room fees and will need to provide a credit/debit card when checking in at the hotel. Rooms are $209++ per night.
MNEA will invoice local associations as follows:
- MNEA will provide funding for two rooms for both nights if your local association sends at least four leaders (president, vice president, treasurer, membership/organizing chair, emerging leader).
- Additionally, MNEA will fund a room if you send two members to the Political Academy.
- MNEA will bill the local association for all other rooms, with the exception of single rooms paid by the individual.
