MNEA HOPE Fund helps people in need
Through its Humanitarian Outreach Project for Education Fund, Missouri NEA assists students and schools.
The HOPE fund aids students who have been affected by a natural disaster, hardship or other special circumstance with school-related expenses such as the purchase of school supplies or clothing.
The HOPE fund also provides financial assistance for educational-related supplies to schools that have been damaged or destroyed by fire or natural disaster.
Requests for assistance should be directed to MNEA President Chris Guinther by completing the application form.
The HOPE Fund accepts charitable contributions designated for a special cause or in honor/memory of a loved one. Missouri NEA will send a notice of the contribution to the recipient(s) indicated on the contribution form.
To send a tax deductible contribution, print and complete the contribution form and send with a check payable to MNEA Charitable Fund, Missouri NEA, 1810 East Elm Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101.

Human Rights Committee sells note cards to raise money for HOPE Fund
The MNEA Human Rights Committee is selling custom designed note cards, eight cards for $5, to raise money for the HOPE Fund. The cards allow plenty of space for a person message on the inside and feature the following quote on the top of opened inside:
